Unarmed Combat

Unarmed Combat in Ashen Empires encompasses a class of fist weapons like knuckle gloves and spiked gauntlets. You can also engage in unarmed combat by simply not equipping a weapon.

Unarmed Combat does blunt damage exclusively.

All of the upper level unarmed "weapons" require the Sands of Creation expansion. Also, if you are not using an unarmed combat weapon (as in your weapon slot is empty), your speed of attack is based on your Unarmed Combat level and your Dex. It is actually possible for players with high Dex and a Totem of the Werewolf to run into the game's speed limit because they attack so fast.
