Server
From AEWiki
A server is a computer which hosts a certain instance of Ashen Empires. All the servers are currently located in Austin, TX aka IWG Headquarters. They afford access to Ashen Empires to anyone with an internet connection, the client installed, and a combination username/password.
Each server represents an instance of the game, wherein all characters on a specific server can interact.

[edit] Ashen Empires Servers
[edit] Heroes
Heroes is one of Ashen Empire's servers. It is the server which allows PVP, although with SafeZones.
[edit] Legends
Legends is one of Ashen Empire's servers. It is the server which allows no PVP outside of designated zones, such as the Guild Arena or Lotor's Duel Arena.
[edit] Chaos
Chaos is one of three servers, Chaos is total anarchy. Presumably, the Chaos server will have limited deaths, and will work in cycles, where the server will be wiped, and the top characters will 'win.'
[edit] Pantheon
Pantheon houses the resurrected game known for a time as "Dransik Classic". It was discontinued abruptly during the time the game was owned by TKO games. It is the fore-runner of the game Ashen Empires and was originally called "Dransik" and is now known by that name again.
It is a "2D" game with graphics vastly different from those found in AE but the game play is excellent.
It is free to play with a back pack limitation which can be lifted for a one time fee of $25.00 US.
[edit] Server Footnotes
Each server has a different tone of gameplay. Most players prefer a certain server for various reasons.
Legends is currently believed to have a larger population than Heroes.
Total population on any server is currently unknown.
Any account can have four characters on any specific server.
Characters can be moved from server to server, by purchasing a Server Move from the Ashen Empires Store using tokens. There are two different types of server moves; the cheaper move only moves the character with skills and stats and affords a name change. The more expensive server move will move the character, bank, backpack, and any other item not no-drop.
Houses are restricted on 1 per server per account basis. They are not tied to characters, and as such, are not moved if a character is moved. All characters on that account on the server where the house is located can access the house and their banks, if the house is provided with a "vault" (crafted item).
