[edit] General Information
Planting is the second stage in the Agriculture class, after Foraging and before Harvesting. You can plant various seeds and some roots to grow plants which can be harvested for their fruit later.
[edit] How to Plant
[edit] Digging
First you must locate suitable ground which can be found as farmland in many towns and settlements scattered throughout the world. It is dark soil formed into rows. Once you have picked out a row, stand next to the spot you want to use. Open your backpack (B) and left click on a shovel. Once activated, your cursor will change to a square. Highlight the area where you want to dig and left click. If you can dig here, you will see a hole appear in a few seconds. Sometimes you damage your shovel while digging. This is normal to happen regardless of your level in planting.

Now you have (insert your name here)'s Fresh Soil. You can now put seeds into this hole! Left click on the seed in your backpack. Your cursor will change to a target. Left click the hole and wait to see if you succeed or not. (Check the Foraging section for a list of seeds that you can plant).

Now you must wait for your plant to grow. You can aid this process with a potion of magic plant growth or the Mage Nature spells Bless Fields, Grow, and Flourish. When they are ready, you will see a message in yellow in your chat box that says "One of your crops is ready to harvest." Growing times vary from plant to plant. If you forget about your plants, they will eventually go away and you will not be able to harvest them.

Your success rate at planting depends on the difficulty of the seed, your level in planting, and your Intelligence.
- Outcome = Base% + (Planting/2) + (Int/6)
