Game Masters are people who IWG has hired to work in the game rather than with the game, eg they help when people get stuck, some of them are forum moderators and some of them give technical support. Usually they have GM tools ingame which makes them able to do whatever they want, and most importantly, summon Talazar.

This is the standard outlook of a GM, but they can take any form they want.
